For the ones who worry from afar

Meals for Your Elderly Parents — Delivered, With a Check-In

You can't be at their table every night. We can. Healthy, genuinely delicious meals for your parents, delivered by a neighbor who knocks, hands over the bag, and makes sure all is well.

It usually starts with a phone call. Mom says she's eating fine, but the fridge tells a different story. Dad's managing his diabetes "his own way." You're three hours — or three states — away, doing the math on how often you can realistically visit, feeling the worry that never quite switches off.

Vivant was built for exactly this. We deliver a week of healthy, honestly delicious meals — Louisiana classics like gumbo, étouffée, and smothered chicken, rebuilt by our kitchen to be diabetic-conscious, high-protein, and portioned right — straight to your parent's door.

You handle the love. We'll handle the cooking. And our driver handles something quietly priceless: eyes on your parent, every single week.

How it works for long-distance families

Food they'll actually eat

The hard truth about most senior meal services: the food is beige, and beige food goes in the trash while your parent makes toast. Vivant's whole premise is the opposite — meals built from the flavors your parents cooked their whole lives, with the nutrition quietly rebuilt underneath (25g+ protein, fiber-rich, carb-counted, sodium-conscious, dietitian-reviewed). Large-print labels, two minutes in the microwave, done.

Questions, answered

Can I order meals for my parents if I live in another state?

Yes — that's exactly how Vivant is built. You set up the weekly plan and pay online from anywhere; your parent gets meals delivered to their door, and can also order by phone or paper menu. You get the peace of mind; they keep their independence.

How is this different from Meals on Wheels?

Meals on Wheels programs do vital work, but many are capacity-limited with long waiting lists, and menus are standardized. Vivant is a private service: restaurant-quality Louisiana cooking, diabetic-conscious nutrition, flexible plans, and a weekly delivery that doubles as a friendly check-in — no waitlist, no eligibility forms.

What if my parent has diabetes or blood pressure concerns?

Every lunch and dinner is carb-counted, sodium-conscious, high in protein and fiber, and reviewed by a Louisiana-licensed dietitian. Full nutrition details are available for every meal, so you and their doctor can see exactly what's on the plate.
